Queen Anne Primary Suite Addition & Luxury Bath Remodel
This primary suite remodel was part of a larger whole-home renovation and addition, thoughtfully executed in phases over 8 years.
The most significant transformation came during the third phase, when a two-story addition introduced both a new family room and a private primary suite retreat.
Inside the new primary suite, modern detailing meets warmth and comfort. The bathroom features a striking sandstone tile wall in rich, earthy tones that adds texture and depth to the space. A large soaking tub anchors the room, complemented by a dedicated spa-inspired vanity nook that supports everyday routines. Heated bathroom floors provide an added layer of comfort, especially during cooler Seattle months.
One of the most distinctive design elements is the use of floor-to-ceiling wood-veneered sliding doors in the primary bedroom. These panels conceal the bathroom closet while also providing a flexible separation between a small home office and the primary bedroom's sleeping area.
The result is a private, multifunctional suite that balances luxury, practicality, and thoughtful architectural integration.
